Hi there, my name is Jon Peck. I’m a software engineer, author, educator, and musician.
Over the past couple of decades, my professional career has been focused on custom software development. I worked my way up from IT and customer success positions through college, into coding as my primary responsibility.
My Computer Science Bachelor’s degree was earned with primarily Java, but also some Perl, Prolog, and even Assembly. I wasn’t passionate about Java and instead self-taught myself PHP, which I found had more practical career options in the region at the time.
